RPI Attends Navy Employer Recognition Event

June 11, 2024 – Robert Pleban, Founder of RPI Group, Inc. (RPI) and Chairman of the Board, attended the Navy Employer Recognition Event (NERE) to receive an award for outstanding employer support of the Navy Reserve on behalf of RPI. The event was held in San Diego on the USS Tripoli (LHA-7).

This award recognizes civilian employers who have provided exceptional support to Navy Reserve members. RPI was nominated by Christian Cullivan, Systems Specialist from our East Site, who currently serves in the Navy Reserves. Each year, hundreds of nominations are received, and the Chief of Naval Reserve's NERE team selects 50 companies to receive this award.

Christian states: “I am happy to see RPI was selected to attend NERE this year! RPI has truly been an outstanding company to work for while performing my Navy Reserve duty and recognition for all you do was required.”

Guests received their award aboard the USS Tripoli (LHA-7) followed by a tour of the ship. The tours then continued with demonstrations by the Navy Marine Mammal Program, aircraft static displays at Naval Air Station North Island and displays of multiple commands at the Naval Amphibious Base Coronado, which included SEAL Team Seventeen and Naval Information Warfare Systems Command. The evening reception concluded aboard the USS Midway Museum.

Bob remarked, “this was an incredible event that truly honored RPI’s talented and dedicated employees, especially those serving in our Reserve Forces.”
