EDILEN OBAMOS
DIRECTOR, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Edilen Obamos is the Director of Business Development at RPI. She brings extensive leadership experience across multiple government contracting sectors. A United States Navy veteran, Edilen served as a Surface Warfare Officer aboard USS Denver (LPD 9), forward deployed from Sasebo, Japan; USS Hué City (CG 66), homeported in Mayport, Florida; and USS San Jacinto (CG 56), homeported in Norfolk, Virginia.
At RPI, Edilen leads full-lifecycle business development, strategic partnerships, and capture efforts across the company’s primary growth markets, including Cyber Solutions, Defense Systems & Networks, and Warfare Science & Technology. Her collaborative leadership style reflects RPI’s core values by strengthening industry relationships, supporting internal teams, and advancing customer mission success.
Born and raised on Guam, Edilen earned a Bachelor of Science in Quantitative Economics from the United States Naval Academy as a member of the Class of 2012. She later earned her Master of Business Administration from Regent University. She serves on the Board of Directors of the U.S. Naval Academy Alumni Association Hampton Roads Chapter and previously served on the boards of the Tidewater Association of Government Contractors and the Tidewater Government Industry Council.
Outside of work, Edilen is passionate about musical theater and opera. She loves spending quality time with her family; her puppy BaeMax, husband Garney, stepdaughter Isabelle, sister Evelyn, and mom Helen.
