Robert ‘Bob’ Pleban is the Founder of RPI Group, Inc., a service provider to the National Security Community, the Department of Defense, and the commercial marketplace. Founded in 2001, RPI is a Service-Disabled, Veteran Owned Small Business with an accomplished team of national security and system engineers and cyber security professionals providing a variety of services, such as Network/Systems Architecture Engineering, Cyber Security Solutions, and Undersea Warfare Research and Development to the United States Marine Corps, the United States Air Force, and the United States Navy in diverse locations across the United States. RPI capabilities include leading-edge technology solutions that safeguard the most complex cyber challenges, such as developing its cyber-secured and accredited architecture that secure vulnerable industrial control systems, high voltage SCADA, and water and waste-water generation/treatment facilities.

Bob enjoyed an impeccable military career as a Naval Flight Officer, retiring in 1995. He charted operational experience though numerous assignments from the Pacific to Mediterranean theaters. In his last staff assignment, Bob was the Deputy Department Head for Undersea Warfare at the Office of Naval Intelligence; he has over 35 years’ experience with the Department of Defense.

As an accomplished senior executive, Bob has a distinguished record of achievement and experience building valuable public and private sector alliances in both corporate and start-up environments. Under Bob’s leadership, RPI has been listed on Inc. 5000 “Fastest Growing Companies” for 2016, 2017, 2020, and 2021 and Inc. Best Workplaces for 2017, 2018, and 2020. 

Bob holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Media Communications from Cleveland State University and a Master of Science in Information Systems from American University, Washington DC.
